Just wanted to let everybody know that we haven't forgotten about the blog. We're at Sunriver and we're just chilling. Expect the blog to get going again around the tenth or so. Thanks for reading, and keep the comments coming!

Love the "stagnation" heading and LOVE the blog! Meant to write you all a quick note, but had a really wonderful dinner and visit with you all before your trip. And sounds like you had a great time in Sunriver. You DO have a really wonderful and supportive family but please know, too, that we are just a phone call away if you, Franz or Peter (or your critters) should need ANYTHING ... during this next process. Feel free to e-mail (gslucky@aol.com) or use my cell phone 541-543-4294 if you can't get a hold of us at home (our landline is sometimes useless but the computer and cell phone are always up and running!).
We are thinking of you and sending prayers your way for your upcoming surgery. Let me know if you need even just quiet company, either in Portland or at home. You know my schedule can be pretty flexible.
